Whether you are a cowboy or a cowgirl, the Tucson Rodeo – La Fiesta de Los Vaqueros is a must-see event of the year. This rodeo will be held in Tucson in Pima County, Arizona, on February 20 through February 28, 2016, and it is a long-standing tradition in the area. In fact, it was originally held in Pima County in 1925, which was in the middle of the Prohibition period. The idea behind the event was to draw visitors to the area in winter. Even in 1925, the event had the name La Fiesta de Los Vaqueros.
