Country Western Weddings are always eventful but what’s more exciting is when you know it’s time for a bachelorette party!

It’s time for a country western bachelorette party and Shawna with her Mustang Posse shared their experience with Cowboy Lifestyle Network.  The ladies decided to kick up their heels in Manhattan, Kansas for the bachelorette party with some Coors beer.  Several friends from South Dakota drove down for the occasion.  The bride-to-be wore a pink cowgirl hat with a rodeo queen crown and  “bride-to-be” sash to compliment her western attire.  The maid-of-honor made iron-on decals to embellish the matching shirts.

“They were my Mustang Posse and I was a Filly on the Loose.  My fiancé made us jello shots and took our two dogs out of town and worked on center pieces while we painted the town red. Saturday was the weekend everyone moved back since Kansas State started Monday. Aggieville, which is the bar district was hopping. It was a blast just to see my great friends, dance and relax,” shared Shawna.

Bouquets and Boutonnières

Bouquets, Country Western Wedding (Part 3) Boutonnières and a Bachelorette Party (Collage)The wheat boutonnières, bouquets and flower girl arrangement are finalized.  One of the last items will be tying bows around the bouquets. Cowboy Lifestyle Network noticed the boutonnières displayed arrow fletchings. Shawna explained, “A trip to  Cabela’s resulted in finding arrow scraps.  Adam glued the fletchings on and we added the orange knock. Adam’s Godmother,  mom and I made the wheat arrangements to stick in them.”

A sunflower in each bouquet was added to represent, Kansas, where Shawna and Adam met.
The flower girl will carry a pale of  wheat and the bridal bouquet is wrapped in a lime green piggin’ string with a little spur on top.
