Protect Our West: Wildland Firefighter Gear & Equipment

With the continuing Protect Our West (POW) campaign, Wildland Firefighter Foundation engages with the Coors Banquet in supporting the selfless firefighters.

Firefighters are often the least respected and honored members of society, yet their service is truly selfless and heroic. They give of themselves in order to protect residents from devastating fires, putting their own lives at risk. These courageous people have families of their own; yet they work to ensure the safety of their community, frequently sustaining injuries and worse. Such is the case with these amazing public servants throughout the western United States.

These brave public servants are on hand to do their duty for hours on end, ready to jump in an instant when summoned. Without the professionalism of our firefighters of the West, urgently racing to serve and protect in dousing out these fires, the community and residents would be in danger.

Dangerous Fires & Threats to Firefighters
Wildfires are extremely out of control, devastating huge parcels of land in the western United States. Firefighters continue to battle these ferocious, record-breaking and out-of-control blazes, putting their lives at risk in order to do the job they pledge to do.

The fearlessness and gallant efforts of the firefights, suited in their heavy firefighting equipment are extremely deserving of extreme honor and support by the Wildland Firefighter Foundation during this “Protect Our West” campaign.

Feel proud in honoring these brave heroes with true patriotism and gratification. We need to all remember their selfless commitment to us as we vow to support them, their families and the families of all fallen firefighters.
