Turquoise Circuit Finals PRCA ProRodeo 2019


This October 4th-5th, 88 of the best cowboys and cowgirls from Arizona and New Mexico are coming to Prescott Valley, Arizona to compete in “The Best in the Southwest,” the 2019 Turquoise Circuit Finals Rodeo.

The Turquoise Circuit was devised by the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA,) as part of a national circuit system. With 12 circuits nationwide, The Turquoise Circuit includes rodeos in New Mexico and Arizona. With 20 PRCA sanctioned rodeos between Arizona and New Mexico, the Turquoise Circuit Finals is a chance for cowboys and cowgirls from Arizona and New Mexico to put their rodeo prowess to the test as they compete for one of two top spots in each rodeo event. The top 2 contestants from each event will attend the RAM National Circuit Finals Rodeo in Kissimmee, Florida where they will come together to represent Turquoise Circuit. With such high stakes, this year’s performance is sure to be as thrilling as ever!

The 2019 Turquoise Circuit Finals will take place at the Findlay Toyota Center (formerly known as the Prescott Valley Event Center,) in Prescott, Arizona. With three rodeo performances over the course of this two-day event, there are multiple chances to cheer on your favorite hometown rodeo athletes.

Friday, October 4th, 2019

Gates Open – 6:00pm | 1st Performance – 7:00pm

Saturday, October 5th, 2019

Gates Open – 12:30pm | 2nd Performance – 1:30pm

Gates Open – 6:00pm | 3rd Performance – 7:00pm

Whether you prefer bucking bulls or bucking broncs, the action will be non-stop in the arena. But that’s not the only excitement The Turquoise Circuit has to offer! The 2019 TCFR committee is proud to present the Inaugural Exceptional Rodeo. Scheduled for October 5th at 9:00 am, this all-inclusive event brings the rodeo experience to each participant regardless of intellectual and developmental disability.

Also taking place October 4th-5th is the 2020 Miss Turquoise Circuit Pageant. Throughout the year, this crowned cowgirl will travel to various rodeos across the state of Arizona and New Mexico as she represents the Turquoise Circuit. Cowgirls from each state will compete in areas of horsemanship, personal interview, fashion, interview, and more! The winning cowgirl will be crowned on Saturday, October 5th.

Taryn Cantrell is an Arizona native who has spent many hours in the rodeo arena. Having grown up barrel racing, serving as the 2017 Gilbert Days Rodeo Queen and as a member of the Cowgirls Historical Foundation, Taryn is passionate about her western heritage and all things rodeo. When she’s not on horseback, Taryn can be found playing her bass guitar, painting, and performing around Phoenix with her band. Taryn is a graduate of Arizona State University with her Bachelor's Degree in Vocal Performance. Taryn is proud to combine her love of the arts with her love of rodeo and has been honored to sing The National Anthem at various rodeos across the beautiful state of Arizona. Alongside her love for art and music, preserving her western heritage and promoting the sport of rodeo are just two of Taryn’s many passions. Taryn is so honored to share her love of rodeo with Cowboy Lifestyle Network’s wonderful audience.
