Honda Ridgeline offers utilitarian and fun features

Earnhardt Auto Centers are known for sales and service of reliable cars and trucks, and their “No Bull” approach. Earnhardt locations offer a full selection of new and used vehicles, including the Honda Ridgeline.
Cars.com recently recognized the 2017 Honda Ridgeline as number 4 on its “American Made” index, and the top truck on this list. While it may sound surprising for a Honda vehicle to receive this award, vehicles are ranked based on assembly location, domestic-parts content, US factory employment, engine origin and transmission origin, according to the article on Cars.com

The second-generation Ridgeline has a more traditional truck look than its earlier model, which stopped production in 2014. Available in all-wheel or two-wheel drive, the Ridgeline sports a 3.5-liter V6 engine, providing plenty of speed and pickup for highway driving and passing. A roomy interior, including a five-person cabin, sets the Ridgeline apart from competitors. There’s room to spare up front, and the rear seats flip down to allow for gear storage inside the cabin. Gear can also be stowed under the seats when they’re upright. The Ridgeline offers towing capacity maxed at 5,000 pounds with all-wheel drive, less than some leading pickups, but enough to meet many standard towing needs.
Technology keeps you connected and in control with a touch screen offering all the latest bells and whistles including navigation, audio and hands-free phone access. The optional “Honda Assist” add-on provides a camera and radar for adaptive cruise control.
The Ridgeline’s truck bed contains some snazzy features, including a built-in bed liner and a lockable in-bed trunk — so you can stow your gear in the truck bed but keep it all out of sight. The trunk even contains a drain, so you can fill the area with ice and use it as a cooler. The truck bed is accessible in the traditional top-down manner, and can also swing out. Add an optional power outlet in the truck bed, and you’ll have enough wattage to power a flat screen TV for those tailgate parties. You can also add an audio system to stay entertained.
If you’re looking for a comfortable truck with practical features, check out the Honda Ridgeline at any Earnhardt Auto Centers location today, particularly Earnhardt Honda in Avondale. Your Honda Ridgeline will be the center of attention!
