Professional bull riding rodeo fans will be on the edge of their seats while watching the excitement unfold during the 2017 Livingston Classic PBR event at the Park County Fairgrounds on August 5. The Livingston Classic is considered a premier event in Montana and attracts a sell out crowd. The best 35 bull riders from around the globe will be competing in the event. Montana’s own Jess Lockwood, Matt Triplett and Nevada Newman are among the contestants riding in the Saturday night contest.
History of the PBR
The Professional Bull Riding organization was established 23 years ago when 20 bull riders dreamed of transforming the sport into an international event. In a little over two decades, the dangerous sport has taken the world by storm. More than 100 million fans watch professional bull riding competitions each year while attending live events or catching the action on network television. Since its inception, the PBR has given more than $100 million in prize money to the top competitors. Boasting winnings of more than $5.5 million during his career, Justin McBride is one of 24 cowboys earning more than one million by winning the event.
Livingston Classic Tickets
General and reserve seating tickets for the Livingston Classic are available at the Livingston Classic PBR website at www.livingstonclassicpbr.com/. Tickets may be printed or obtained at the fairgrounds ticket office. General admission tickets are also available at the Livingston Chamber of Commerce Office, at Murdoch’s or the Spur Line.
The fairgrounds gates open at 5:30 P.M. on the 5th. The show and professional bull riding events begin at 7:00 P.M. Food, beverage and merchandise vendors will be at the fairgrounds. Public facilities are also available throughout the PBR event.
