Record Rack’s Bucks for the Brave is Back for 2021!

After a long year, Record Rack’s Bucks for the Brave is making a HUGE comeback in 2021. It’s once again time for the hunt of a lifetime for seven lucky retired first responders and military members. Nominations opened on July 4th and Cowboy Lifestyle Network is proud to be partnering with Sportman’s Choice & Record Rack Feed to help promote Bucks for the Brave Heroes Hunt, November 11-15, 2021 at the Trinity Oaks Ranch in Batesville, Texas.

This program was developed to support heroes, share their stories, and unite us all in honoring and recognizing their service to our great nation. We often jump at any opportunity to get involved with organizations like Record Rack and Trinity Oaks. This will be our third year supporting Bucks for the Brave and we couldn’t be more thrilled to be a part of this event.

The Mission

There aren’t many of us that can understand the sacrifices that the men and women that have served on the front lines in our armed forces, law enforcement, and fire departments, have made but we can share their story and celebrate their victories. Record Rack is on the search for heroes in your community that you want to nominate for the Bucks for the Brave initiative. You will be able to find more information at the bottom of this article. The mission is simple, nominate and recognize a hero in your life! It just takes a minute to nominate any retired or non-working nominee in any of the following fields: Retired Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine, Coast Guard, Firefighter, or Law Enforcement Officer. You can see more of their frequently asked questions by hopping over to their website.

The Experience of a Lifetime

The seven heroes that will be the grand prize winners will be given an all-inclusive hunting experience at the Trinity Oaks Ranch in Batesville, Texas. Coming from someone who has been able to witness a few of these hunts now, I can tell you a little bit about the experience without ruining the surprises that await the heroes. First, Trinity Oaks is a destination in and of itself. With the closest real town being about 20 miles away, you are truly immersed in your environment, giving the volunteers and heroes the chance to connect on a deeper level throughout the trip. It isn’t just the volunteers the heroes can expect to connect with either. Throughout the trip, there are always guest appearances (some surprises and some not). Some of the regulars that come to each event are NASCAR Racer, Spencer Boyd, PRCA Saddle Bronc Rider, Heith DeMoss, Country Singer, Austin English, PRCA Steer Wrestler, Clayton Hass and PRCA Rodeo Announcer, Andy Stewart, and so many more!

#20: Spencer Boyd, Young’s Motorsports, Chevrolet Silverado Record Rack

As far as the hunt itself goes, the heroes have the opportunity to go hunting twice a day (morning and evening), led by the ranch’s expert guides. The food is to die for, there’s nothing like a hunting trip without homecooked meals, which wouldn’t be possible without all the amazing volunteers from Trinity Oaks. For the heroes that get chosen, it isn’t just about the hunt, but the friends that come out of the trip as well. Each year our family gets a little bigger and we can’t wait to see who will join us this year!

Nominating Your Hero

Now the fun part! In order to nominate your hero, you need to submit a photo along with a short essay as to why this Hero should be chosen to win. All nominations must be submitted by September 12th. This contest allows you to nominate Veterans (no longer serving), Retired Firefighters, and Law Enforcement Retirees to win the hunt of a lifetime, taking place over Veteran’s Day Weekend, November 11-15, 2021, at Trinity Oak’s Thumbtack Ranch in Batesville, TX. Please note that nominees will be contacted to verify eligibility (see official rules and regulations) and availability to attend the hunt scheduled for November 11-15, 2021. One hero from each category will be selected by a committee made up of contest partners, Veterans, and Retirees of Law Enforcement and Firefighters.  These 7 heroes will be the Grand Prize Winners that are announced on October 8, 2021.

Please join Cowboy Lifestyle Network as we support such a great cause in honoring those who have served. We are so excited to be partnered with a great organization that is dedicated to giving back to those who put their lives on the line. Please share and nominate your hero today!
