Cadillac introduced the XT6 in January at the North American International Auto Show. The vehicle goes on sale in fall 2019 as a 2020 model, with early orders happening this summer.

GM Authority calls the Cadillac XT6 similar to a Chevrolet Traverse or a Buick Enclave. However, the XT6 boasts a lighter curb weight than other vehicles in its class, according to GM Authority. This is due to the new C1XX architecture, contributing to optimum fuel economy and driving tasks like acceleration, braking and handling. Enjoy a vehicle that combines the roominess of an SUV with the luxury of a Cadillac.

Three full rows of seating make this car a dream for hauling passengers around, resulting in the mid-size XT6 being spacious and family friendly, says a review in Car and Driver. Options include seven or eight configurations, with either a second-row, three-seat bench or two captain’s chairs in the second row. All XT6 models have a third row with space for three riders.

An XT6 has much of the well-known Cadillac style, including the front end and upscale trim. The vehicle boasts 310-hp 3.6-liter V-6, front- or all-wheel drive and nine-speed automatic transmission. Two versions are available, Premium Luxury and Sport. The Premium Luxury version is all about comfort, while the Sport model features performance-enhancing extras like torque-vectoring rear axle and re-tuned steering.

Cadillac didn’t skip on technology and safety features. All XT6 models come with touchscreen infotainment, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, on-board WiFi and wireless charging for smartphones. Standard safety features include automated emergency braking, lane-keeping assist and blind-spot monitoring. Additional features like adaptive cruise control and night vision can be added too.

If you’re in the market for a roomy SUV with the iconic Cadillac name, come on out to Earnhardt Cadillac or Earnhardt Chandler Cadillac to learn more!
