Cowboy Lifestyle Network Presents Cheap Tips for the NFR in Las Vegas

Written by

The Cowboy Lifestyle Network knows that a trip to the National Finals Rodeo is both exciting and memorable, and is providing rodeo-goers with tips on how to save money at the biggest rodeo of the year.

Now that November is here, it’s time to prepare for the National Finals Rodeo. This event is the biggest event in rodeo and spans 10 days in December from the 5-14th. There is so much to do and see that a trip can easily become overwhelming (and expensive)! The Cowboy Lifestyle Network has you covered and is revealing top tips to have a fun and cheap trip to Vegas.
1. Get there early and stay late!
One of the best things you can do to avoid all of the crazy traffic before and after the rodeo each night is to get there early and stay late. Before the rodeo, there are many free events that you can go to and experience. The Ram Truck experience, the Ram Truck free concert, Coors Party Tent and more can all be attended at no additional cost! There are many vendors to browse through as well.
2. Getting home
Make sure to allow at least two hours for traffic to die down after the rodeo.
After the rodeo is over, the Cowboy Lifestyle Network recommends that you do not take a taxi. The line to get a taxi after the rodeo is over can literally wrap around the stadium. Traffic getting out is terrible as well. In order to get home, the CLN suggests that you take one of the many shuttles that the biggest hotels in the area provide to and from this event. The wait is shorter, plus there is no cost or a small price to pay compared to what it would cost to take a taxi.
3. Finding a place to stay
The CLN recommends checking in at any of the 7 Boyd Gaming hotels in Las Vegas, Nevada; such as, Gold Coast Hotel & Casino. Gold Coast is conveniently located only a mile west of the Las Vegas Strip and less than a mile from Chinatown. CLN is proud to say that the Gold Coast Hotel & Casino offers an affordably comfortable and all-around relaxed resort experience. Stay in one of Gold Coast’s 711 rooms; in addition, Gold Coast recently remodeled a more modern feel to provide Gold Coast guests with  boutique-like hotel experience. Also, nothing beats  free parking, as well as a free shuttle service to the Las Vegas Strip.
4. Food and drinks
The Cowboy Lifestyle Network recommends eating off of the strip. Resorts and their restaurants can be extremely expensive and have long lines and wait times. There are countless restaurants around to explore with cuisine to appease every appetite! Lots of restaurants even have food specials during the NFR. When it comes to drinking, NFR goers should buy their own alcoholic beverages off the strip.

The Cowboy Lifestyle Network is looking forward to attending the NFR and knows that your ultimate rodeo experience will be cheaper and less stressful if these simple tips are followed.
