Reno Rodeo 2018 PRCA: 98th Annual Wildest, Richest Rodeo in the West

Almost ready to celebrate its centennial anniversary, the PRCA Reno Rodeo is indeed something special. Billed as the wildest, richest rodeo in the West, this Nevada rodeo is one that all nearby cowboys and cowgirls look forward to year after year. With festivities scheduled each day from June 14-23, there will no doubt be plenty of thrills, spills, and family-friendly entertainment that’s sure to please both the casual fan as well as those who attend one rodeo after another. And to make sure fans are able to keep up with the action each day, extensive media coverage will be provided by the Cowboy Lifestyle NetworkAk-Chin Indian Community, and Earnhardt Auto Centers Road Team.
Theme Nights
As with many of today’s most popular rodeos, the Reno Rodeo will have its share of special theme nights.
For those who attend this PRCA wildest, richest rodeo in the West, a few special nights will give attendees the chance to support various causes important to everyone.
Some of the most popular theme nights will be:
–June 15, Patriot Night: Wear red, white, and blue
–June 19, Man Up Crusade Night: Support the End of Domestic Violence
–June 22, Tough Enough To Wear Pink: Help Find a Cure for Breast Cancer
By attending these nights, you’ll not only see plenty of great rodeo action, but also feel good knowing you are supporting some wonderful causes.
Rodeo Events
As with any edition of the PRCA Reno Rodeo, there will plenty of great events that are sure to showcase just why this is indeed the wildest, richest rodeo in the West. Some of the most popular events Nevada cowboys and cowgirls can enjoy are:

–Saddle bronc
–Team roping
–Steer wrestling
–Tie-down roping
With plenty of the world’s best rodeo competitors scheduled to compete, fans of all ages will find themselves standing and cheering from start to finish.
