During this three-day event, the top 35 bull riders in the world matched up with strong and powerful challengers that weigh just short of 2,000 pounds. In fact, CLN met up with Jim Haworth, the Chairman and CEO of Professional Bull Riders (PBR) at Albuquerque’s University Arena ‘The Pit’ to watch all the adrenaline-packed action unfold.
Once the first PBR bucking chutes swung opened at the Ty Murray Invitational, the eight-second battles had officially begun. It’s a sport like no other; the best bull riders try to survive their ride while the rankest bulls in the world establish their dominance.
With this being said, can you guess who the top bull was of the Ty Murray Invitational? Yes, you got it right—Bushwacker. As the biggest and baddest bull in the world watches from the other bulls and bull riders from his pen, he waits patiently for his turn to play the game.

As most bulls go crazy in the chutes and are a pain to calm down before the chute opens, this 1, 700 pound beast, famously known as Bushwacker, is always calm in the chute. However, as soon as the chute swung open, the fear that this bull ingrains in the rider is no secret as it is visibly painted on his face.
Meanwhile, PBR fans couldn’t help but to be entertained by CLN’s favorite exclusive PBR entertainer, Flint Rasmussen, during the spectacular weekend of bull riding. Of course, the PBR Dickies bull fighters in the ring are specifically there to reduce serious accidents from occurring. Jesse Byrne, Frank Newsom, Shorty Gorham and Lyndel Runyan constantly have to fight off and often times distract these massive bulls as soon as the rider gets bucked off.
