GCPRA Pima County Fair & Rodeo 2016

If you’re a cowboy or cowgirl in Tucson, Arizona and are looking for some wild west excitement toward the end of April, you need look no further than the 2016 GCPRA Pima County Fair & Rodeo. Sponsored by the Grand Canyon Pro Rodeo Association, it’s scheduled to be held April 23-24 and promises to offer plenty of excitement for everyone in attendance. With the Cowboy Lifestyle Network, Ak-Chin Indian Community, and Earnhardt Auto Centers Road Team providing media coverage for the event, it’s sure to be a rodeo that will be talked about long after it’s over.

Rodeo Events

With many of the top cowboys and cowgirls set to compete in the GCPRA Pima County Fair & Rodeo, this rodeo in Tucson, Arizona promises to be one of the best yet. As usual, there will be plenty of exciting competitions being held. Some of the most popular events people can look forward to seeing include:

  • Steer Wrestling
  • Bareback Riding
  • Barrel Racing
  • Team Roping
  • Bull Riding

With all this and more going on, it’s no wonder this is one of the most popular attractions in Tucson, Arizona year after year.

Additional Events

Along with the rodeo, the 2016 GCPRA Pima County Fair & Rodeo has plenty of other events that add to the excitement. For those who love classic cars in addition to the rodeo events, they can take a look at the Door Slammers Car Club Show and Shine on Saturday, April 23. And after spending the day looking at some great vehicles, they can settle down and listen to their choice of great music. Some of the concerts being held during the fair include:

  • LOCASH on the Hensley Craft Beer Corner Stage
  • Kalin and Myles
  • Roberto Tapia

After attending the rodeo events and listening to great music, folks are bound to have worked up an appetite. But thankfully, the GCPRA Pima County Fair & Rodeo offers lots of great food to satisfy their appetites.
