If you’ve had the good fortunate to be in the stands before, you know the 2016 Mile High PBR Touring Pro Division in Prescott, Arizona, is going to be one of the year’s biggest family events. Anyone at past shows would attest to marveling at the world’s top professional bull riders aiming to survive those crucial eight seconds. There wasn’t a single bull riding aficionado in the stands not screaming over the action of high ranked bulls, tough competition and big wrecks.
If you haven’t had the privilege or wouldn’t want to miss a second of the competition, the Touring Pro Division returns with the best professional bull riders April 30th. The big event will be held at the Prescott Valley Event Center and, as always, it will bring together not just the best bull riders in the world, but rising fan favorites. It’s going to be the first step for eligibility in the PBR’s Built Ford Tough World Finals. In other words, it’s going to be dog-eat-dog. Or maybe we should say cowboy-ride-bull.
The Touring Pro Division is an excellent opportunity for everyone to get involved in some great PBR sanctioned events. You’ll get to see some stock that’s almost as famous as anyone riding. We’re talking about amazing animals that can make the show. Ask Colton Ballard. At the 2014 event, he climbed on Mr. Clark. Ballard was a serious contender, but so was Mr. Clark. And it took only seconds to name a winner. Mr. Clark maintained his reputation as undefeated.
When you come down, rest assured the Professional Bull Riders Association is going to have family friendly events of all sorts. There’s going to be great food, a little music and one moment after another reminding us why we love being cowboys. Other sponsors include The Cowboy Lifestyle Network, one of the biggest promoters and online resources of professional bull riding and anything else rodeo in the country. The organization — alongside the Ak-Chin Indian Community and Earnhardt Auto Centers Road Team — will be coordinating media coverage of the 2016 Mile High PBR Touring Pro Division, making sure the unfortunate who can’t attend get as close to the event as possible.
