[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]The 2016 PRCA Championship Rodeo at FargoDome is going to bring all types of excitement to North Dakota in April. Over three action-packed days, you can expect the best in:

  • Bareback Riding
  • Tie Down Roping
  • Saddle Bronc Riding
  • Steer Wrestling
  • Ladies WPRA Barrel Racing
  • Team Roping
  • Bull Riding

Located on the North Dakota State University campus, FargoDome hosts major concerts, circuses and trade shows. But what the stadium’s really known for is promoting the most anticipated sporting events in the region. It’s home to NDSU Bison football and Division I softball. Both the WWE and WCW bring their wrestling superstars here to settle differences. So it’s not surprising that the PRCA Championship Rodeo is proud to see their events at North Dakota’s most famous entertainment venue.
Last year, an audience of thousands showed up to watch every headlining, top ranked cowboy and cowgirl rope, ride, race and wrestle in team roping, bareback and bull riding, steer wrestling and more. This year, over 200 contestants are showing up from as far as Canada to show the cowboy way is alive and strong. They know the 2016 PRCA Championship Rodeo at FargoDome is far more than a sporting event or a chance to earn a spot at the Wrangler National Finals in Las Vegas, Nevada. They know each event sponsored by the PRCA is about celebrating a rugged lifestyle that remains a significant part of American history and culture. These events bring together cowboy, cowgirl and their families to have a good time while embracing a culture that’s helped make this country great.
The Cowboy Lifestyle Network, Ak-Chin Indian Community and Earnhardt Auto Centers Road Team will be on the ground at FargoDome. The media team will be there covering every moment of the PRCA Championship Rodeo. The CLN is the top online source for everything rodeo and its history. The Ak-Chin Indian Community has long maintained its reputation for promoting and supporting events and programs that keep this unique heritage alive. And the Earnhardt Auto Centers Road Team has devoted as much time to the cowboy and cowgirl way as they have to making sure everyone gets the best deals on their vehicles.
Come April, we hope to see everyone at the FargoDome for the 2016 PRCA Championship Rodeo. Tickets are on sale now.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]

Peter Varlet

Peter Varlet’s the cowboy critic you love to hate, until he’s right. Born during a thunderstorm in 1972 in Bismarck, North Dakota, he grew up watching his WWII vet dad battle to save their farm from corporate claws. Now, Peter’s the unapologetic voice of Western culture, with a historian’s grip on America’s past, acknowledging both its heroes and hypocrites. His truth to power articles are a no-holds-barred zone for rodeo reviews, cowboy movie takedowns, and ranching tricks that work. He’ll tell you why your country singer’s a fraud and how to fix a fence with only baling wire and spite. Peter despises corporate factory farms taking over and cherishes the DIY grit of real Americans. Politically correct? Nope. Trustworthy? Damn straight. He’s saving the West, one brutal truth at a time.
