2016 PRCA Kitsap County Fair & Stampede

Written by

Sponsored by the PRCA, the 2016 Kitsap County Fair and Stampede. returns August 24-28 to Bremerton, Washington.
If history is the ultimate indicator, the 2016 schedule will be filled with family-friendly events and pulse-pounding rodeo. There will be live entertainment like Louie Foxx’s Comedy & Stunt Show, the Big Shot Woodcarvers and Kevin Wolf’s Comedy Hypnosis. The Kitsap Destruction Derby will present a jam-packed afternoon of cars smashing cars. The Heart by Heart Concert features members of the classic 70s band. Both Austin Jenckes and Jackson Michelson will be hitting the Geico Concert Stage on separate nights, bringing great music with them.
Of course, it wouldn’t be a Pro Rodeo Cowboys Association sanctioned event without rodeo. Expect top PRCA events like bareback riding and steer wrestling. Team roping is the only pro rodeo event where cowboys and cowgirls work and compete together.
The best horses bred for agility, strength and bucking bring the pain to saddle bronc riding. Budget Roofer will be hosting the tie down roping show. Barrel racing will see the best cowgirls attempting to run an obstacle course of 55-gallon barrels. Lastly – and of course – there’s professional bull riding, eight of the tightest seconds in professional rodeo.
The Pro Rodeo Cowboys Association will be in full force at the Kitsap County Fair and Stampede, meanwhile, you can stay tuned for updates provided by the Cowboy Lifestyle Network, Ak-Chin Indian Community and Earnhardt Auto Centers Road Team.
