2016 Stagecoach Music Festival

Written by

The annual California Stagecoach Festival provides music lovers with the chance to attend live performances from April 29 through May 1, 2016. Held at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California, the event has been entertaining audiences from 2007 with a long line-up of guests ranging from local artists to celebrity bands. Considered one of the most popular country music festivals on the planet, concerts also include alternative country, bluegrass, folk and rock performers.

Stagecoach Festival Country Music Lineup

Nearly five dozen acts are scheduled to perform day and night in 2016. The extensive lineup includes:
• April 29-Eric Church, Sam Hunt, Kris Young, Emmylou Harris, Marty Stuart and many others
• April 30-Carrie Underwood, The Band Perry, John Fogerty, Lee Ann Womack, Joe Nichols and many others
• May 1-Luke Brian, Little Big Town, Dustin Lynch, The Doobie Brothers, A Thousand Horses and much more

Additional Attractions

Along with country music, the Toyota Thrill Ride & Drive gives guests the chance to ride along with a professional driver as they navigate a custom-built off-road thrill course. The Energy Playground provides the opportunity to get your heart and adrenaline pumping on specially designed equipment that requires muscle power to charge mobile devices. The impressive Ferris Wheel offers a chance to get a bird’s eye view over the location in addition to the majestic mountain range in the distance. The little ones have an exceptional time in the Half-Pint Hootenanny, which features games, art and crafts, a petting zoo and live entertainment.

Festival Pass Options

Currently, visitors have the option of purchasing $299 general admission wristbands or $899 reserved seating bands. All groups provide access to the event for the entire length of time. Guests may venture between the stages, visit vendors and all of the attractions that include a mouth-watering BBQ. Leaving and re-entering the area is only allowable when wearing a Stagecoach Festival wristband. All passes are available for purchase now at the venue website box office.

Off-Site Camping Options

Unfortunately, the RV Resort is sold out. In Indio, California, nearby alternative campsites include The Lake Cahuilla Recreation Area, the Indian Wells Carefree RV Resort, the Motorcoach Country Club and the Shadow Hills RV Resort. All provide full services and are within minutes from the event site. There is no cost for day parking. However, if spending the night, the fee is $30. For $100, guests have the option of getting VIP parking passes for the north end of the facility. Shuttle passes and volunteer carpools are also available.
Throughout the festivities, the Cowboy Lifestyle Network, the Ak-Chin Indian Community, and the Earnhardt Auto Centers Road Team will monitor and provide live coverage of all the 2016 California Stagecoach Festival events.
