To celebrate the accomplishments and contributions of these pioneers, cowboys and cowgirls in Phoenix can attend the 2017 Arizona All-Black Rodeo at Rawhide Wild Horse Pass, AZ. Highlighting local and national African-American rodeo competitors, this year’s event promises to be the biggest and best yet. If you want to get there early, gates open at 11:30 a.m. for the 1 p.m. show and 5:30 p.m. for the 7 p.m. show.
