From November 1st to the 5th, the lucky city of Las Vegas will be known as Bull Riding Vegas for the 2017 PBR BFTS World Finals, an event that is considered by many to be the most exciting in Sin City. This is the final event of the year for the Professional Bull Riders circuit, which has been on a nationwide tour to select the toughest, bravest and most skilled competitors in the world.
The PBR cowboys are rugged bull riders who love nothing more than staying atop fearsome beasts for as long as they can; we are talking about fearless riders who risk being thrown off and trampled by bulls that have been fed and groomed for years just to make it to PBR Las Vegas and retire. We are talking about riders who come from all over the world; in fact, Brazilian riders have been known to dominate the PBR circuit over the last few years.
From Wednesday, November 1st to Sunday, November 5th, each competitor at T-Mobile Arena will have a chance to ride one bull and earn enough points to make it to the Built Ford Tough Championship Round, which offers a $300,000 purse. The rider with the most points will be on top of the podium surrounded by beautiful women and labeled as the 2017 PBR BFTS World Finals champion, which means claiming the big purse of one million dollars. The 2016 champions Cooper Davis and Ryan Dirteater are current American favorites, but a few Brazilian rookies are hungry to take the coveted Gold Buckle this year.
