Six days, ten events and three arenas set up the biggest youth rodeo ever. The annual International Finals Youth Rodeo (IFYR) is known as the richest youth rodeo in the world. Since 1993 high schoolers from all around the world have traveled to Shawnee, OK to compete for a chance at the prize money. This year, the IFYR gave away more than $250,000 to the top rodeo athletes. Over 1,000 entries were received and after two long-go’s and the finals, these are the champions.
Congratulations to all the champions of this year’s IFYR. Make sure to follow the Cowboy Lifestyle Network team to get all the behind the scenes action. Who knows, we might be at your hometown rodeo next! For more events like the IFYR, head on over to GoCountryEvents.com to see all of the local western events in your area.
