88 years in the making, the Navajo County Fair & Rodeo is back with more rodeo action than ever. Saddle up with Cowboy Lifestyle Network as we head to the 2019 Navajo County Fair & Rodeo, “It’s an American Tradition!”

September 11th marks the beginning of festivities and rodeo isn’t the only excitement to be found during the four-day extravaganza. From high-flying Frazier Carnival rides, to musical entertainment by the one-and-only Coffey Anderson, the 2019 Navajo County Fair & Rodeo has something for the entire family to enjoy.

Check out some of this year’s activities!

“This year’s entertainment will include: the rodeo, Demolition Derby, Navajo County Fair Jr. Miss Pageant, Little Buckaroo Rodeo, Open Class Exhibits and Demonstrations, Jr. Livestock Show and Auction, 4-H Horse Show, Small Stock Show and Exhibits, Playing with Gravity, Freckle Farm Pony Rides and Petting Zoo, magician Louie Foxx, Balloon Artist, The Conjurer, Black Sheep Skid Bucket Rides and Play with Giants. Along with food booths, vendors plus much, much more” (https://www.navajocountyfair.com/).

All activities will take place September 11th to September 14th at the Navajo County Fairgrounds, located in Holbrook, Arizona. For a full list of events, click here!

Rodeo action will hit the arena Friday, September 13th at 7:30pm and Saturday, September 14th at 6:30pm. Gates will open at 4:30pm prior to each performance. Showcasing your favorite rodeo athletes, this event is one you won’t want to miss!

Since 1931, the fair has been providing community members and visitors alike with a jam-packed weekend, full of family fun. Since it’s inception the Navajo County Fair, Inc. has dedicated itself to bringing the best-of-the-best rodeo action to the community. Taryn Cantrell is an Arizona native with a lifelong connection to the rodeo arena. From her roots in barrel racing to her role as the 2017 Gilbert Days Rodeo Queen and her involvement with the Cowgirls Historical Foundation, Taryn celebrates her western heritage with enthusiasm and authenticity. Taryn holds a degree in Vocal Performance from Arizona State University, allowing her to merge her passion for music with her love of cowboy culture. As a singer and bassist, Taryn performs with bands across Phoenix and beyond including Great American Regret, Honey Marie Knight, and Sareena Dominguez. Taryn is passionate about blending her diverse interests to offer an authentic and engaging perspective on journalism. Her goal is to connect readers to the events, concerts, and celebrations that matter most, bringing them closer to the experiences she treasures. Whether you’re attending your very first rodeo or adding another to your collection of memories, Taryn is here to guide you every step of the way!
