The update features a new set of USB ports in the second row, bringing the total number of USB ports to four, according to the review. The Lexus GX seats seven people in three rows.  The Lexus GX 460 also offers an optional Sport Design package which adds a matte black exhaust tip and custom tail lights.

Another noteworthy addition to the GX is the new Off-Road Package available on the Luxury trim, says the Digital Trends review. This package adds different terrain modes that adjust the throttle and brakes for better control over different surfaces like loose rocks or sand. It’s an off-roader’s dream! This package also includes cameras to let the driver see around and under the vehicle through the infotainment screen. The Lexus GX is one of the best off-roaders in the industry, according to this review.

Other features stayed constant in the Lexus GX, including the 4.6-liter V8 engine, with 301 horsepower and 329 pound-feet of torque, which can tow 6,500 pounds.

Comfort features include heated and ventilated seats, offered as an add-on for the base model and standard on the Premium and Luxury models. In the Sport Design package for Premium and Luxury trims, captain’s chairs are offered for second-row seating, according to Lexus
