2025 Pinto World Championship

The 2025 Pinto World Championship is fast approaching, bringing excitement to Tulsa, Oklahoma once again. This 15-day event is more than just a horse show, it’s a celebration of the horsemanship, dedication, and deep bond between riders and their Pinto horses. With their eye-catching coloration and rich heritage, Pintos represent a wide array of bloodlines, spanning from the refined Arabian Horse, and the smooth-gaited Tennessee Walking Horse to the spirited American Shetland Pony. Numerous breeds and disciplines makes the PWC a dynamic showcase of horsemanship, uniting equestrians from all backgrounds with their shared love of the Pinto horse.

During this 15-day celebration, 13 days are devoted to an expansive horse show featuring over 700 diverse classes. Whether you’re a seasoned equestrian or new to the Pinto world, the PWC offers something for every skill level, age group, and riding discipline. From stock, hunter, pleasure, and saddle classes to miniature, pony, and full-sized breeds, the event showcases the versatility of Pinto horses. With divisions ranging from advanced and novice to open competitions, the Pinto World Championship and the Pinto Horse Association promise to keep you entertained this June!

Yellow Rose Futurity

In addition to the many exciting events in store at the 2025 Pinto World Championship, spectators can look forward to The Yellow Rose Futurity presented by the World Confirmation Horse Association (WCHA). This event is an All-Breed Futurity, open to horses with AQHA, APHA, PHBA, ARHA, ABRA, or ApHC registry. This futurity recognizes horses for their confirmation and breeders for their stewardship in promoting the foundation of a horse’s ability to successfully perform any discipline.

The Pinto World Championship isn’t just about the competition, it’s a well-rounded event with plenty to enjoy beyond the arena. In addition to world-class equestrian action, attendees can gather with friends and family for dining, live music and dancing, and explore a diverse trade show featuring vendors and equestrian goods. Whether you’re there to compete or cheer on the equestrians, the PWC has something for everyone!

Taryn Cantrell

Taryn Cantrell is an Arizona native with a lifelong connection to the rodeo arena. From her roots in barrel racing to her role as the 2017 Gilbert Days Rodeo Queen and her involvement with the Cowgirls Historical Foundation, Taryn celebrates her western heritage with enthusiasm and authenticity. Taryn holds a degree in Vocal Performance from Arizona State University, allowing her to merge her passion for music with her love of cowboy culture. As a singer and bassist, Taryn performs with bands across Phoenix and beyond including Great American Regret, Honey Marie Knight, and Sareena Dominguez. Taryn is passionate about blending her diverse interests to offer an authentic and engaging perspective on journalism. Her goal is to connect readers to the events, concerts, and celebrations that matter most, bringing them closer to the experiences she treasures. Whether you’re attending your very first rodeo or adding another to your collection of memories, Taryn is here to guide you every step of the way!
