[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Summertime is always a busy season for the Professional Bull Riders Association. Things are heating up and preparations for the PFI Invitational in Springfield is well underway.  This year the event will be held from the 7th to the 9th of September at the JQH Arena, located at the Missouri State University. The Professional Bull Riders championship event is also dubbed the Springfield Rodeo. Offering some of the best rodeo action for everybody in the family to enjoy, expectations are running high.
Bass Pro Shops and Ford are presenting the Springfield rodeo in 2018. Contestants will consist of some of the best rodeo riders from the United States and from all over the world. The masses will be entertained as these gentlemen battle it out to win the championship.
There are a lot of popular contestants taking part in this year’s event including Ryan Dirteater from Oklahoma. The man is 29 now and has been consistently among the top 20 bull riders in the world. He has a reputation for performing better at events being sponsored by Ford and this year we expect nothing less at the Springfield Rodeo. The fact that he will be facing some of the toughest challenges, competing with riders from Mexico and Brazil, this event will be very interesting, to say the least.

Special Events

For all the rodeo fans, there will be a host of special events at this year’s Springfield Rodeo. Of course the rodeo events itself are entertaining but there’s plenty more to this event every year. Bass Pro Shops will host events, which will allow fans to interact with the riders, bullfighters, and the entertainers. While guests won’t be allowed to go near the real bulls there will be a mechanical one. If they want to show off their skills in rodeo, that’s their best bet. If the guests manage to hold on for 8 seconds, they will be rewarded for it. They will receive autographed merchandise. With Flint Rasmussen on the mic as always, you know everybody is going to have an amazing time.
Oh, and guess what?  The PFI/PBR Party in the parking lot is going to make things even better for the fans. A lot of performers will come in to entertain the fans of this wonderful and dangerous sport.
Tickets for the event can be purchased easily through MissouriStateTix.com. [/vc_column_text][vc_masonry_media_grid element_width=”6″ grid_id=”vc_gid:1534381154969-75f6a257-97d4-6″ include=”44174,44173″][vc_single_image image=”27253″ img_size=”full” alignment=”center” >
