From its beginnings in the early 1980’s to where it is today, the Navajo Nation rodeo has indeed come a long way in a short period of time. Whereas the early rodeos had much smaller crowds, today’s events pack thousands of enthusiastic cowboys and cowgirls into the stands, all ready to witness some of the best rodeo action in Window Rock as well as the United States. With its emphasis on celebrating the Navajo Nation, this INFR Tour rodeo does indeed hold a special place in the hearts of people in the southwestern United States.
