6th Annual Cowgirls with Heart Rodeo Dance

Written by

What started in 2010 as a way to get together for good old traditional country music and dance while the La Fiesta de los Vaqueros – Tucson Rodeo has evolved into an annual event, benefiting local and national organizations such as Western Wishes, Youth on Their Own and this year, the Arizona Fisher House. Learn more about the Fisher House Foundation here: https://www.fisherhouse.org/
Fisher House Foundation is best known for a network of comfort homes where military and veterans’ families can stay at no cost while a loved one is receiving treatment.
This year Cowgirls With Heart is proud to do our part in helping Military families. Proceeds from this years 6th Annual Cowgirls With Heart Rodeo Dance go directly to the Arizona Fisher House, benefiting Veterans and their families served by the Southern Arizona VA Health Care System.
It has been a privilege for the past six years to hold our annual Cowgirls With Heart Rodeo Dance at the “Historic” El Casino Ballroom, a Tucson icon since 1947. Owned by the Latin America Social Club since 1972, the El Casino Ballroom has hosted family milestones as well as touring musical acts, including world-renowned performers like James Brown and Fats Domino.
The El Casino Ballroom has long been famous for it’s wooden dance floor, once the largest spring-mounted floor in Southern Arizona. We at Cowgirls With Heart think it’s still the best dance floor around!
This years 6th Annual Cowgirls With Heart Rodeo Dance will be held, Friday, February 26th, 2016 at the “Historic” El Casino Ballroom. Featuring the Harry Luge Band. Doors open at 7 pm. Band 8-Midnight. Cash Bar and Food Truck. We would like to thank our sponsors again this year, and a special thank you to Boot Barn for their continued support!
Tickets will be on sale at all Tucson Boot Barn locations and At the Door the night of the event. The price of admission $10/person. All ages. A chance to win our “Commemorative” Montana Silversmith Belt Buckle courtesy of Silver Hills Trading Co. Thank you to Finely Distributing Co., Imaginelights, Vaquero Feed and Livestock, Stagecoach Bags and Gina Kraut of Buckin Awards for their generous donations. All proceeds and Silent Auction items to benefit the Arizona Fisher House.
