70th Annual Taylor Rodeo: Celebrate the Taylor Way!

Taylor, Arizona – High-flying fireworks, a BBQ with all the fixins, family, friends, and great summer weather may come to mind when planning your 4th of July week. While celebrating the birth of the red, white, and blue may seem complete with the activities listed above, there’s one American pastime you won’t want to miss during your 4th of July celebrations… rodeo!

Taylor, Arizona sure knows how to throw a party. With 69 years of rodeo thrills in the books, this year’s 70th Annual Taylor Rodeo will take place on July 6th at the Taylor Rodeo Park. With over 2,000 brand-new bleacher seats added, thousands of rodeo fans will be entertained as they cheer on the rodeo’s top human, equine, and bovine athletes! 

Barrels, bulls, steers, and more, The Taylor Rodeo has all the rodeo events you know and love. But the action isn’t limited to the arena! Check out the full Taylor Rodeo schedule below!

Taryn Cantrell is an Arizona native who has spent many hours in the rodeo arena. Having grown up barrel racing, serving as the 2017 Gilbert Days Rodeo Queen and as a member of the Cowgirls Historical Foundation, Taryn is passionate about her western heritage and all things rodeo. When she’s not on horseback, Taryn can be found playing her bass guitar, painting, and performing around Phoenix with her band. Taryn is a graduate of Arizona State University with her Bachelor's Degree in Vocal Performance. Taryn is proud to combine her love of the arts with her love of rodeo and has been honored to sing The National Anthem at various rodeos across the beautiful state of Arizona. Alongside her love for art and music, preserving her western heritage and promoting the sport of rodeo are just two of Taryn’s many passions. Taryn is so honored to share her love of rodeo with Cowboy Lifestyle Network’s wonderful audience.
