84th Navajo County Fair & Rodeo 2015

The 84th Navajo County Fair & Rodeo 2015 will take place in Holbrook, Arizona, from September 16-20 this year. After 80+ years of operation, it should come as no surprise that this event has been voted the “#1 rodeo” for the past 12 consecutive years.
Part of what makes this rodeo so special is that it is actually much more than a rodeo event. Not only is this the place for the proud cowboy or cowgirl to show off his or her skills, but it’s also a county fair that all citizens can go to for a bit of community fun.
This RAM rodeo series is the largest state fair quality carnival in Navajo County. In addition to the RAM rodeo series, other entertainment patrons can expect include the Jr. Miss Pageant, Jr. Livestock Show and Auction, Open Class Exhibits and Demonstrations, Small Stock Shows and Exhibits, Farmer Phil, Poppin’ Penelope and other kids’ rides and activities. Of course, there’s entertainment for the adults as well like the bands, Damn Union and Darkness Dearboy. Plenty of food booths and vendors will be set up around the fair as well.
One of the RAM rodeo series events cowboy and cowgirl entrants will be competing in this year include is the Top PRCA Bucking Stock from Honeycutt Rodeo Company. Cowboy Johnny “Backflip” Dudley will be performing and cowgirl Jody Carper will be the PRCA announcer.
The first Navajo County RAM Rodeo was held in Holbrook, Arizona, back in 1931. The event was and still remains to be held in order to advance the agricultural, educational, homemaking, cultural, esthetic and scientific interests of all the residents of the county. Part of how the event accomplishes this is by promoting competitive exhibition of farm products, home economics, livestock and more. Since its inception, the event has become a tradition in Holbrook, Arizona, that doesn’t seem to be going anywhere any time soon. Residents of the county and visitors from all over the state attend the event every year for entertainment, trade and family fun.
The leading online source and community for everything pertaining to the cowboy lifestyle, the “Cowboy Lifestyle Network, Ak-Chin Indian Community and Earnhardt Auto Road Team,” will be covering the event this year. The event will be held off Interstate 50 in Holbrook on its 80 acres that accommodate for events, carnival rides, a commercial exhibit hall, concession stands, boarding stalls and more.
