ACM Awards 2019

Written by

If you’re a fan of country music, you always look forward to April, since that’s when the Academy of Country Music Awards comes along each year to showcase the best country music acts and songs of the year. This year’s extravaganza, set for April 13-15 in Las Vegas, promises to be perhaps the greatest ACMs yet. With a wide variety of artists and other industry heavyweights scheduled to perform or present awards, there’s no doubt tickets to this year’s show will be hotter and harder to find than ever.

Show History

With this year’s show being the 54th year, it’s clear this show has grown over the years to become the premier country music awards show in the recording industry. And along the way, the ACMs have played host to some of the greatest country music performers ever, such as:

–Hank Williams Jr.

–Charlie Rich

–Conway Twitty

–Loretta Lynn

–Tammy Wynette

–Alabama

And as country music has grown in popularity, the Academy of Country Music Awards has also become a popular destination for stars in other areas of entertainment and sports, making the show a must-see for virtually everyone.

Party for a Cause

Along with showcasing country music’s greatest stars, the ACMs are also deeply involved in charitable causes. In recent years, the Party for a Cause has been a huge hit with performers, fans, and those who benefit from the charity. In fact, over the past four years, Party for a Cause has raised more than $500,000 in ticket proceeds. Known as ACM Lifting Lives, this arm of the Academy of Country Music works closely with music-related educational and therapy programs, enabling it to help thousands of individuals each year. And with such artists as Thomas Rhett, Jon Pardi, Keith Urban, Kenny Chesney, and many others helping out, there’s no doubt this year’s event will raise even more funds for those in need.
