American300 Armed Forces Tour 2015

Written by

For six years, the American300 Foundation has been providing America’s military troops, as well as their families, with live entertainment and various other services. The goal of this non-profit, fully volunteer based operation is about more than providing Armed Forces entertainment. The organization is also focused on improving the resiliency capabilities of the troops and their families by visiting them in various locations where they are stationed around the world, and the team has been very effective at accomplishing the goal it has established. This important and lofty goal is accomplished in part through the efforts of many volunteer workers as well as professional athletes, entertainers and others who travel around the world on tour to touch the lives of others.

The Wrangler Western National Patriot Tour

Singer/Songwriter Lucas Hodge, Wrangler Western’s Allen Montgomery and 4x World Champion Bareback Cowboy Kaycee Feild with some of our American heroes at the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas, NV.

The effort to provide Armed Forces entertainment and other support services was promoted by the American300 Foundation recently with the completion of the Wrangler Western National Patriot Tour. The original schedule for the volunteer entertainers and other support staff took the group to provide entertainment to bases in Djibouti, Turkey and Africa along with various other locations in the Middle East this year. Part of the tour had to be re-routed due to tensions in some areas, and the group had the opportunity to perform at Pearl Harbor on Memorial Day. The Wrangler Western National Patriot Tour is also expected to continue on with performances scheduled on Veterans Day and Independence Day.

The Support of the Troops

It takes a huge volunteer team to pull of incredible events like these tour performances, and even more effort is required to complete the full tour. Those who participated in the Armed Forces entertainment recently included the four time World Champion Bareback Rider Kaycee Field and 2013 Miss Rodeo Arizona, Brittany Truman. Jeff Chadwick from Wrangler Western also attended the events. Additional notable volunteers who entertained crowds include country music performer Lucas Hoge, former Miss Rodeo America Maegan Ridley and veteran tour performer Robi Powers.
Supporting the troops and their families is an honorable mission, and the efforts of the volunteers for the American300 Foundation have touched many lives so for.
With additional performances planned for the Wrangler Western National Patriot Tour as it continues this year as well as with tours likely for future years, the efforts of these volunteers to provide Armed Forces entertainment and support will likely continue.
