[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Arroyo Grille at Ak-Chin Southern Dunes Golf Club serves up its next beer tasting event on Thursday, October 19 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Grab your friends, and get ready to try some great libations!

Arroyo Grille offers beer tasting events that have attracted a growing following. The October 19 tasting event features seasonal beers from Leinenkugel — Octoberfest, Red Lager, Anniversary Lager and Chippewa Pride Beer — and is offered to guests age 21 and older. Come thirsty, and bring your appetite for the restaurant’s Thursday deal — a specialty burger and fries for $12.

Arroyo Grille also offers different menu specials several nights a week. These include a fish fry for $13 on Wednesdays, prime rib for $22 on Fridays, and a new Saturday Night Chef Special. Join Chef Neil each Saturday as he prepares a special dish starting at 5 p.m. At 6:30 p.m., Chef Neil addresses the crowd, and each chef special includes a paired wine tasting with the entree. It’s like getting insider information to order off the secret menu! Limited quantities of the weekly special dish are available each week, so call ahead for reservations.

Children age 12 and under eat free on Wednesdays and Thursdays, so bring the kids along on those nights for a no-fuss dinner! One free kids’ entree per adult entree purchase. Arroyo Grille kids’ menu includes all the favorites — mac and cheese, chicken tenders, cheeseburger sliders, grilled cheese, hot dogs, and ham or turkey deli sandwiches. Top it all off with a kids’ strawberry-banana or mango fruit smoothie for $6.

Whatever your taste, you’re sure to find it at Arroyo Grille – especially at the beer tasting event, where you can sample some great brews!

Arroyo Grille is located at 48456 W. Highway 238 in Maricopa. It’s open on Sundays, Mondays, and Tuesdays from 5:30 a.m. to the last golfer; and Wednesdays through Saturdays from 5:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. For more information or call-ahead seating, contact Arroyo Grille at 520-426-6832.

Now, her Western adventures with CLN have her diving into the rugged automotive scene, exploring the trucks and rigs cowboys rely on for work, home, and play, a niche where grit meets horsepower. She works at Raising Special Kids, a nonprofit resource center for families of children with disabilities and special healthcare needs.
