Austin Gamblers Win Sixth Straight Game to Stop Arizona Ridge Riders’ Streak at Nine Heading To Gambler Days Homestand In Five Days
Bull RidingNASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Austin Gamblers rode into Nashville and did what no one else could, earning their sixth straight win and ending the Arizona Ridge Riders‘ nine-game winning streak just one ride short of the league record. In a high-stakes showdown between the PBR Teams’ top two squads, the Gamblers proved they’re the team to beat.
While the Ridge Riders came out firing with back-to-back rides, the Gamblers answered like true champions. Andrei Scoparo started the charge with a gritty 81.25 points on Pac Man, kicking off a four-ride stampede that sealed the win. Vinicius Pinheiro Correa followed with a strong 86 points, and team ace Dalton Kasel put up a big 87.75. Dener Barbosa finished the night with a near-perfect outing, solidifying the Gamblers’ hold on the top of the standings.

This impressive winning streak began in Sunrise, Florida, and has carried the Gamblers through a tough gauntlet of competition. They’ve tamed the New York Mavericks, Missouri Thunder, Nashville Stampede, Kansas City Outlaws, and Oklahoma Wildcatters, culminating in their statement win over Arizona.
“Momentum is everything. I feel like we’re the only team to lose two absolute superstars in Kaique (Pacheco) and Jose (Vitor Leme) and have a bunch of young guys to show out like we did today. It’s true professionals through and through, top to bottom every guy in the lineup. We know we can trust them, put in anyone in at any time. They’re great athletes; just a special group of guys,” said Austin Gamblers bull rider Sage Steele Kimzey, a seven-time PRCA World Champion signed as a free agent heading into the 2025 season.

The Gamblers will now ride that wave of momentum home to Austin, Texas, for their highly anticipated homestand, Gambler Days, at the Moody Center from August 22-24. The energy will be electric as the team looks to protect its home turf.
The five-on-five games begin on Friday at 7:45 p.m. CT Aug. 22; Saturday, Aug. 23 at 6:45 p.m. CT; and 1:45 p.m. CT Sunday afternoon. Tickets are available at ticketmaster.com, PBR.com, at the Moody Center Box Office, or by calling PBR customer service at (800) 732-1727.

About the PBR Camping World Team Series
The PBR Camping World Team Series is an elite league featuring the world’s top bull riders competing on teams in five-on-five bull riding games during a 13-event season beginning in July and culminating in a Team Championship at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas in October.
During the 2025 season, the league’s fourth, each of the ten teams – Austin Gamblers of Austin, TX; Arizona Ridge Riders of Glendale, AZ; Carolina Cowboys of Greensboro, NC; Florida Freedom of Sunrise, FL; Kansas City Outlaws of Kansas City, MO; Nashville Stampede of Nashville, TN; Oklahoma Wildcatters of Oklahoma City, OK; Missouri Thunder of Springfield, MO; New York Mavericks of Elmont, NY, and Texas Rattlers of Fort Worth, TX – will host a three-day homestand. There are also neutral-site games in Anaheim, CA and Duluth, GA.

PBR Teams, which launched in July 2022, builds on the existing structure of professional bull riding with the same basic rules for judging and scoring qualified 8-second bull rides. Events are staged in head-to-head matchups in a tournament-style format. In five-on-five games, the team with the highest aggregate score of qualified rides among its riders is declared the winner.
