Western Small Business Highlight: Aztec Cactus Boutique

Written by

Here at Cowboy Lifestyle Network, we are all about supporting small businesses which is how this series was born. Now every month, I am thrilled to highlight a small business in the western, ag, or rural space. If you’re interested in applying to be featured, check the link at the bottom of this article!

This month, we are featuring Jessica Collins-Sweet, Owner of the Aztec Cactus Boutique. Jessica was born and raised in central Illinois and fashion has always been a huge part of her life. So much so, she decided to turn her passion into a career! We enjoyed this Q & A with her about her business. Check it out below!

Q: How did you get started in your business?

A: Growing up fashion was always a huge part of my life. I had dreamed of owning a boutique since I could remember so I finally brought it to life! I woke up one day and decided it was time and ever since then I have poured my whole heart into my business.

Q: What motivates you in your business?

A: Being able to help other women feel comfortable and confident in what they wear! In this day and age it can be hard to feel confident and I help women find that confidence. Here at The Aztec Cactus, we are your personal hype girl!

Q: What makes your business unique from others?

A: We want to build relationships and friendships with our customers not just with their bank accounts. Some of our closest friends have started as customers/followers.

Q: Where do you want to be in the next 3 years?

A: I would love to finally be able to move and get a storefront to be able to see and chat with all of my amazing customers!
