[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]More than 300 major professional rodeo contestants from throughout the US will compete in seven action events at this Bismarck Rodeo as the competitors attempt to qualify for the important Wrangler National Finals later held in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The Bismarck Rodeo will be held in Bismarck, North Dakota, at the Bismarck Civic Center at 7:30 PM on Friday, February 2 and Saturday, February 3, 2018. Tickets will be $24, $35, and $42.
The Arena
This arena built in the 1960s, has more than 250,000 people annually that attend a large variety of events with thousands of performers in rodeos, sporting events, concerts, family shows, circuses and more.
Events at the Rodeo
Included will be Steer Wrestling, Bull Riding, Bareback Bronc Riding, Saddle Bronc Riding, Tie Down Roping, Team Roping, and Cowgirl’s Barrel Racing.
Extra Event
An additional activity will be the Xtreme Bull Riding at 7:30 PM on Thursday, February 1, also at the Civic Center. There will be 50 professional riders that are tops in the World Standings, many of them qualifiers for the Wrangler National Finals.
The Cowboys and Cowgirls
They comprise the majority of the association’s roster and include those who take part in professional rodeos for their living and crisscross the country with equipment and horses that they own and those who have regular jobs during the week and are competitors in rodeos on weekends.
World Champions
That is ProRodeo’s most coveted title. Eight world titlists are crowned at the conclusion of the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo, and it is based on the total season’s rodeo earnings at rodeos and monies earned at the Wrangler NFR. Each champion receives a special trophy saddle and a gold buckle.
Rodeo Fans
Over 36 million people are ProRodeo fans, and many attend PRCA-sanctioned rodeos all over the country. The Sports Business Daily states that rodeo ranks seventh in over-all attendance at major sporting events, ahead of golf and tennis!
Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA)
The PRCA joins the Women’s Professional Rodeo Association (WPRA) in sanctioning this rodeo. Headquartered in Colorado Springs, Colorado, PRCA is the world’s oldest and largest sanctioning body for approximately 600 rodeos in North America in 38 states as well as several Canadian provinces.

The Ak-Chin Indian Community, Earnhardt Auto Centers, Papa John’s Pizza Road Team, and the popular Cowboy Lifestyle Network (CLN) will be covering this PRCA Bismarck Rodeo. CLN is the primary community and the source online for all Country and Western happenings. For additional information, please visit their website at: https://cowboylifestylenetwork.com
