A Celebration of Culture, Tradition, and Community

Brighton Field Day Festival has deep roots in Seminole history and culture, drawing thousands of visitors to take part in an immersive experience that highlights Native American arts, heritage demonstrations, and community celebration. Arts and crafts vendors showcase handmade goods, traditional Native dancers perform throughout the event, and guests can enjoy authentic Seminole foods that reflect generations of culinary tradition.

The festival also features classic Florida highlights such as alligator wrestling exhibitions, carnival rides, and a lively cultural village where visitors can engage directly with Seminole history and living traditions.

Rodeo Action and Live Music

Rodeo events are among the most anticipated parts of the Brighton Field Day Festival. Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA) competitions take place throughout the festival, bringing powerful displays of riding skill, speed, and athleticism. These events honor the legacy of Fred Smith and the deep connection between the Seminole community and cattle culture.

Music and live entertainment are integral to the celebration. The Saturday evening concert is included with that day’s festival ticket, offering an evening of music under the open sky. Soak in the country music as Dasha opens for Tucker Wetmore. Attendees are encouraged to bring chairs because seating can be limited near the stage area.

Tickets and Attendance Information

Tickets for the Brighton Field Day Festival 2026 are available online and at the gate. Advance tickets are sold through TicketWeb at ticketweb.com; this is the primary online outlet for advance purchase, and tickets will also be available at the festival gates during the event.

General admission covers access to the festival grounds for a specific day. Saturday tickets include admission to the concert at no additional charge, but each day requires its own ticket. Children under five are admitted free, and children ages six to twelve typically receive reduced-price tickets. Senior citizens and veterans may also be eligible for discounted admission with valid identification. Because this event has steadily grown in popularity, early ticket purchase is recommended to avoid long lines or sell-outs and to secure preferred days and concert access.

Sponsors and Community Support

While the Brighton Field Day Festival’s official website and promotional materials highlight a range of sponsors each year, details about this year’s sponsors and contributor acknowledgments are featured on the official festival site and at the venue. Past sponsors for festivals and events like this often include local and regional businesses aligned with rodeo and cultural celebration, and the festival welcomes partners who support community arts, tourism, and heritage preservation.

The festival also works alongside the Seminole Tribe of Florida and Florida Seminole Tourism to bring attention to Native American culture, tourism initiatives, and economic contributions in the region.

What to Expect

Visitors to Brighton Field Day Festival can expect a dynamic, inclusive event that blends traditional and contemporary experiences. About the Author:

Biography:

I grew up in Reno, Nevada which often gets confused as a mini Las Vegas. But Reno has so much more than casinos. I grew up branding cattle, hunting with my dad, camping, playing sports, exploring the hills and so on. I found my love for writing early in life and I always had a journal I was filling up. I also found myself diving head first into photography which led me to volunteer for the rodeo I went to every year since birth, the Reno Rodeo. I now write in the Reno Rodeo Magazine and take photos of the rodeo for another committee. My love for country goes back to the early days with my dad floating on a boat fishing listening to old country (90’s or older) and some classic rock n’ roll. I have expanded my passions of writing and photography worldwide, having traveled to the Safaris in Africa, crumbling castles in Scotland, pubs in Germany to the snowy mountain tops of the Swiss Alps; like Ian Munsick, “I see country everywhere.” You can find me now taking pictures of sports or driving around taking pictures of yet another cow. They are too cute not to. It’s guaranteed to find me living my best life. Life is short, so live vibrantly!
