Burden Kansas PRCA Rodeo 2017

If you’re a cowboy or cowgirl in Kansas who’s looking for some added summer excitement after Labor Day, then mark September 9th on your calendar. On that day beginning at 8 p.m., rodeo fans in Burden Kansas will be able to see some of the best action anywhere when the Burden PRCA Rodeo makes its way to the Burden Arena. Sanctioned by the PRCA as well as the WPRA, there’s no doubt this year’s event promises to be bigger and better than ever. The  Cowboy Lifestyle Network, Ak-Chin Indian Community, Earnhardt Auto Centers, and Papa John’s Road Team, has this rodeo on the top of their list for the second weekend of September.
Burden Rodeo Events
Like other rodeos, the Burden Rodeo promises to have plenty of high-energy thrills and spills to delight fans of all ages. No matter what event may be your favorite, you’ll have plenty from which to choose. Some of the scheduled events include:
–Bull Riding
–Steer Wrestling
–Team Roping
–Cowgirl’s Barrel Racing
–Saddle Bronc Riding
And for those future rodeo stars in Burden Kansas who want to get in on the action, they can take part in the Mutton Bustin’ competition that will take place at 7 p.m. on September 9th. Open to the first 30 contestants, this event always gets the rodeo off to a great start. However, remember there is a $5 entry fee.
Additional Events
Along with the usual exciting WPRA rodeo events, fans can count on being treated to many other special events as well. Among the most anticipated is the Broken Spoke Clydesdales, which always thrills fans with its performance. Also scheduled will be Horseback Musical Chairs, which will have cowboys and cowgirls battling it out for more than $450 in prize money.
Purchase Tickets
Always a great family-friendly competition, this PRCA Burden Rodeo is also a great bargain for those seeking fun and excitement on September 9th. Adults can purchase tickets for $5 a piece, while fans 12 years of age and younger can get in free of charge. Tickets can be purchased at the gate, so get there early to beat the crowd.
