Cassandra Sotos Releases Official Music Video for Debut Single “Annie Oakley”

NASHVILLE, TN (May 4, 2020) – Cassandra Sotos releases the official music video for “Annie Oakley” days after the debut release, with a close up on her skills as a violinist and singer-songwriter. The Emphasis Films production, directed by Robert Hubbard, is set in moody Nashville night scenes and sunset desert landscapes in Arizona.

It also features special guest, World Champion and Hall of Fame Cowgirl Mounted Shooter, “Outlaw” Annie Bianco and her beautiful American Quarter Horse, Costas Peppy Pistol. No stranger to the spotlight, Bianco’s shooting, riding skills, and persona have been featured on Magazine Covers, USA Today, ESPN, FOX Sports, OLN, CMT. She even has even trained Marine Special Forces Instructors on Equine Tactics.

“As soon as I officially met Annie Bianco on the Wrangler National Patriot (WNP) Tour in the Middle East, we clicked and I knew she had to be a part of this video – she is a modern-day Annie Oakley,” Sotos explained. “She completed my vision for the project by actually appearing in the video and helping with the Arizona filming logistics in her backyard of Scottsdale and Cave Creek, taking us to the next level.”

In 2019, Cassandra joined the Wrangler National Patriot Tour to perform and entertain US Troops in the Middle East and Africa. Founded in 2009, WNP became a year-round program developed to help raise funds and awareness supporting current US Military, their families and Veterans. The WNP American 300 Tour consists of a team of champion cowboys, cowgirls, and music artists that travel every Memorial Day to say “Thank-you” to our US Troops deployed abroad in warzones. Wrangler world champion endorsee, Annie Bianco, has been an integral member of the WNP Tour since its inception 11 years ago.

Bianco was honored to help Sotos with her Annie Oakley video project. Bianco explains,

“To be able to work with a talented and amazing woman like Cassandra, was a great experience. We hit if off when we were touring overseas on the WNP Tour. It’s so cool how two gals from different walks of life; a world-class musician and a world champion cowgirl can connect and find common threads! We are both driven and hardworking but like to have fun along the way. Filming Annie Oakley with Cassandra was a BLAST…no pun intended! We all have a little Annie Oakley in us”.
