CBR Horizon Series – Boone County Bull Bash 2016

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Once again, we’re on the cusp of the CBR Horizon Series. In 2016, its Boone County Bull Bash is going down at the Boone County Fairgrounds in Belvidere, Illinois, in August.
The Boone County Bull Bash 2015 was dominated by Cody Teel. From Kountze, Texas, Teel blew the audiences away at the World Finals by going five for five and taking home the title of bull riding champion. It was a close call too. Only 33 points separated number two contender, Sage Steele Kimzey, the previous champion, and Teel. On the final day of competition, Teel consistently took round after round, reminding everyone grit and determination is a trademark of the Southeast cowboy. Both champions are expected to return to Horizon Series in Belvidere. It should be a battle of gladiators.
A leader in bull riding sports, Championship Bull Riding has spent more than a decade ensuring world class bull riders and top stock bring the ultimate experience to the fans. The CBR is dedicated to bringing the best of bull riding to everyone. They have over 70 venues across the country for events and can brag about a broadcasting partnership with the Fox Sports Network. According to Tuff Hedeman, an ambassador for the CBR, “There are two things that the fans want to see at a bull riding … one is eight second rides … and the other is high scores. We aim to get our fans, riders and stock contractors to return time and time again by putting on a great show every time in every town.”
As always with the CBR Horizon Series, you can expect the Cowboy Lifestyle Network, the Ak-Chin Indian Community and the Earnhardt Auto Centers Road Team to be front and center. They’ll be the media team highlighting the Boone County Bull Bash 2016, making sure everyone gets the 411 on every win, fall and audience-thrilling act.
