Chad Berger brings PBR’s Premier Tour to Bismarck August 7-8

Written by

Bismarck, N.D.–PBR (Professional Bull Riders) is launching its 2020 Unleash The Beast second half by teaming up with nine-time PBR Stock Contractor of the Year Chad Berger and Dakota Community Bank & Trust to transform the twentieth anniversary of Berger’s annual home state event into a premier series stop on August 7-8.

Normally held in June, Berger’s famed event typically features a PBR Touring Pro lineup and past champions matchup. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the North Dakota Cowboy Hall of Fame inductee had postponed his bull riding in the hopes of holding the treasured community event by summer’s end. With PBR resuming competition and adjusting its second-half schedule to invite fans back into the arena safely and responsibly, Berger was given the opportunity to bring PBR’s premier tour and top athletes to town.

For two nights, the Top-35 bull riders in the world will attempt to make the buzzer to gain crucial world points at the first event of the 2020 PBR Unleash The Beast season’s second half.

The bull riding action at the PBR Dakota Community Bank & Trust Invitational presented by Cooper Tires begins at 7:45 p.m. on Friday, August 7 at 7:15 p.m. and Saturday, August 8 at 6:45 p.m. Tickets for the two-day event go on sale Thursday, July 23 at 10 a.m. They range in price from $25 to $85 and can be purchased at PBR.com, at the Bismarck Event Center Box Office, online at etix.com or charge by phone at 1-800-514-3849. The Bismarck Event Center Box Office is open limited hours, please call 701-355-1370 for more information on box office hours.

In accordance with North Dakota COVID-19 guidelines, Berger has worked with PBR to institute a series of fan safety protocols to create a safe and responsible environment for fans, including:

  • All Bismarck Event Center staff, PBR staff, riders and stock contractors will be screened for COVID-19. In addition to Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)-informed screening, all PBR staff and event participants will undergo medical testing for COVID-19.
  • Only up to 50% of arena capacity will be sold to distance fans while in their seats.
  • All fans will be in POD seating to increase distancing and minimizing fan crossover when entering and exiting their seats.
  • Complimentary face coverings will be offered to fans entering the arena.
  • Increased reliance on cashless and contactless concessions.
  • Social responsibility guidelines will be posted at restroom, concession and concourse areas.

PBR Elite Seats are available for avid bull riding fans who want an exclusive VIP experience while enjoying the world’s top bull riding circuit. These tickets offer premium seats, a question and answer presentation with some of the top bull riders and stock contractors in the world, a special photo opportunity after the event on the Can-Am Cage, souvenir Elite Seat gift bag alongside a credential and lanyard. Social distancing will be practiced at all times throughout the experience.

The PBR Elite Seats are available for $250 both nights and can be purchased by contacting the PBR Customer Service Department at 800-732-1727.
