Hannah with Brian Doty as Chancey Williams performs "Rodeo Cold Beer"
Taking place at 3:00 pm daily during NFR at the Roper Cowboy Marketplace in Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino, This Is Country has partnered with the charitable organization, Western Wishes, to introduce children with life-threatening illnesses to the artists and rodeo legends that are their heroes.
On Saturday, December 3, Hannah, who was diagnosed with Stage 4 Hodgkin Lymphoma and is a roper herself, took the stage with Brian Doty to meet rodeo star Tuf Cooper and was presented with Fastback ropes of her very own.
Hannah also got the chance to meet country artist and saddle bronc rider Chancey Williams, who is one of only two artists to have performed as a major entertainer and ridden at Cheyenne Frontier Days Rodeo. The singer-songwriter, who is currently working on his new album in Nashville, performed his single, “Rodeo Cold Beer” live for Hannah and the audience.
