Following the immense success of the first two years, this year’s event promises to be even bigger, bolder, and more thrilling than ever before. Founded by professional bull riding legend Chase Outlaw, the Chuck ‘n Buck is a passion project designed to bring the raw, unfiltered energy of the sport directly to the fans. It’s an opportunity for Outlaw to give back to the community that has supported him throughout his career, creating a high-stakes, action-packed event that celebrates the heart of rodeo.
Toughest Athlete
Chase Outlaw, from Hamburg, Arkansas, has been making headlines as a bull rider since high school. Known as “The Toughest Athlete in Sports” by USA Today, Outlaw is celebrated for his resilience, having overcome career-threatening injuries to qualify for the PBR World Finals nine times. He is known for his big personality, loyalty, hard work and family values. He was recently featured in the Prime Video docuseries “The Ride”.
McCoy Rodeo
Cord McCoy, a former professional rodeo cowboy and a professional rodeo stock contractor, is known for his company, McCoy Rodeo, which raises bucking bulls and produces PRCA rodeos. He has also partnered with Chase Outlaw to bring a “Chuck ‘n Buck” pasture bull riding event to the National Championship Chuckwagon Races.
My first time on a calf was at 5 years old, and I’ve been riding ever since. This event can be described just like my daddy said: “It’s a Cowboy Woodstock of Bull riding.”

Admission to all the excitement is available at the gate. The purchase of a ticket grants you access to all events offered on that particular day.
Adults:
- $40/day for Saturday, Aug. 23 through Wednesday, Aug. 27
- $50/day for Thursday, Aug. 28 through Saturday, Aug. 30
- $25 on Sunday, Aug. 31
Children (age 6-12): Half price
No Fences
Held at the historic Bar of Ranch, the Chuck ‘n Buck offers a truly unique spectacle. Unlike traditional indoor arenas, this event takes place on a carefully prepared grassy track, adding an extra layer of challenge and excitement for both riders and spectators. There are no fences, leaving the open track for a completely raw and authentic bull riding experience. The natural terrain pushes competitors to their limits, demanding even greater skill and control as they face off against some of the rankest and most powerful bulls in the country. This isn’t just another bull ride; it’s a test of true grit and determination, where the legends of the sport are made.
The Chuck ‘n Buck is part of the legendary National Championship Chuckwagon Races, an annual event held every Labor Day weekend. What started as a small party among friends has grown into one of the largest equine events in the United States, drawing over 20,000 people. The multi-day celebration of Western culture features far more than just chuckwagon races, including bronc fanning, the “Snowy River Race,” live music, trail rides, and a massive Western trade show.

Live Music
If chuckwagon races, buckin’ broncs and the thrill of bulls isn’t exciting enough for you, be sure to catch the live music events. Several country music artists are scheduled to perform. Pam Tillis, a two-time Grammy award winner and a three-time CMA Award winner, and Wade Hayes, known for his songwriting about heartache and hope, will both perform on Wednesday, August 27. On Thursday, August 28, Clay Cooper, who has been performing in Branson, Missouri, since 1986, will take the stage. Paige King Johnson, a seven-time Carolina Country Music Award winner, will open for William Clark Green on Friday, August 29. Green is known for his “raw, honest songwriting and electrifying live shows.” The Texas Trio, a group with over 60 years of combined experience, will perform Western Swing and traditional country music on Saturday, August 30.
