Chevy Silverado 3500 offers tough yet stylish ride

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]With a combination of can-do power and luxury features, the Chevrolet Silverado 3500 is a workhorse that you can take out for good times too. Test drive the Silverado 3500 today at any Earnhardt Auto Centers dealership in town, including Earnhardt Chevrolet in Chandler.
According to a review in Motor Trend, the Silverado 3500 offers a “do-it-all portfolio of power, passenger room, cargo capacity, feature levels and towing prowess. Yet this bruiser drives beautifully, can be trimmed out as nicely as many luxury cars, and functions amazingly well as everyday personal (and family) transportation.”

Currently the largest truck in the Chevy lineup, the Silverado 3500 is available in single or dual rear-wheel conversions. Engine options include V-8 gas or turbo diesel. According to the Chevrolet website, the Silverado 3500 offers towing capacity of up to 23,300 pounds when properly equipped.
Additional features can add to the vehicle’s safety and capability. StabiliTrak with sway control will detect a swaying trailer and applies both vehicle and trailer brakes. Hill start assist will hold brakes momentarily, giving you extra time to switch from brake to accelerator without rolling back. And digital steering assist can help make hauling and trailering easier with electronic controls.
The Chevy Silverado 3500 also doesn’t skimp on technology and comfort features. Steering-wheel controls let you answer phone calls, activate cruise control, and manage the optional Chevrolet MyLink display. The MyLink display can be used on a 7-inch or available 8-inch touch screen. You’ll also find optional USB ports and an available 100V power outlet. Another option, a wireless charging pad can keep your compatible smartphone juiced up.
To keep driver and riders comfortable, firm foam seats provide added support. You’ll find the interior of your Chevy Silverado 3500 quiet thanks to sound-deadening materials and an inlaid, triple-sealed door.
To test drive a Chevy Silverado 3500, visit Earnhardt Chevrolet, located at 2121 N. Arizona Ave. in Chandler. Or visit Earnhardt Auto Centers online anytime![/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]

She attended Saguaro High School in Scottsdale and then Arizona State University, earning a bachelor’s degree in journalism. Similarly to the protagonist in *The Devil Wears Prada*, Carolyn moved to New York City right after college. She started working for the fashion magazine company Conde Nast but never transitioned to the dark side. After a few years, she left New York in the rearview mirror and returned to her home state, taking a reporter job at the *Apache Junction Independent*. With over 30 years of freelance writing experience, Carolyn especially enjoys writing about community events and profiling individuals who are making a difference in their communities. She had the pleasure of interviewing a variety of cowboy personalities for an article she wrote for the *Scottsdale Independent* about the history of DC Ranch and its roots as a working ranch. Now, her Western adventures with CLN have her diving into the rugged automotive scene, exploring the trucks and rigs cowboys rely on for work, home, and play, a niche where grit meets horsepower. She works at Raising Special Kids, a nonprofit resource center for families of children with disabilities and special healthcare needs. Carolyn also volunteers with the Autism Society of Greater Phoenix. Carolyn believes that everyone has a story, and she loves connecting with others to hear their stories. She’s dedicated to ethical journalism and accurate reporting, which shines through in her storytelling.
