Chicks n Chaps with CLN

Written by

You may or may not be aware of why many rodeo attendees dress up in pink on certain rodeo performances, but as you may have guessed it is to support breast cancer awareness throughout rodeo communities everywhere.

The Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association, better known as the PRCA, works hand in hand with Chicks n Chaps, which is a very special, women’s only, rodeo clinic that teaches women about the exciting events within the sport of rodeo in order to raise awareness and ultimately raise money for local breast cancer patients who are battling the disease.

Unlike the many breast cancer organizations that raise money solely for breast cancer research, Chicks n Chaps raises money and instantly gives back to those faced with breast cancer in order to see those immediate results.
The PRCA has some of the boldest nationally known cowboys; while at the same time, attending these PRCA rodeo performances are even bolder women who are fighting breast cancer day in and day out. Meanwhile, Chicks n Chaps make this partnership between breast cancer patients, volunteers, fans, PRCA Rodeo Committees and Contestants an extremely informative and fun environment for women of all ages.

Cancer patient, Kierstyn Hunt, receives $1,000 from Bonni Bostian, Christy Rogers, and Eva Chadwick of Chicks n’ Chaps.

By raising money locally for breast cancer patients, the positive impact that it has on these brave women battling breast cancer cannot be described in words.

For instance, the Cowboy Lifestyle Network captured a priceless surprise that Bonni Bostian, Christy Rogers, and Eva Chadwick of Chicks n’ Chaps revealed to Kierstyn Hunt, which was a check for USD 1,000 that surely touched her life in a way that makes every effort to support the Chicks n Chaps rodeo clinic worthwhile.
