In order to rope at the largest team roping event of the year you must have an active USTRC or WSTR membership, and you must have attended at least one USTRC event or WSTR qualifier within the last year. NRS will be hosting jackpots the weekend prior as a warm-up before the finals. During the week of the finals, they will be running three arenas to keep the ropings running as smoothly and quickly as possible. This will ensure that everyone can enjoy a night out after a day of roping.

For all you shoppers that will be attending, there will be a trade show happening all week long! Some of your favorite stores will be there such as NRS, Cinch, and many other western influenced small businesses/boutiques. The trade show has been one of the USTRC’s most popular attractions, bringing in people from all over for their shared love of roping and shopping.

After a long day of roping and shopping, sometimes all you want to do is take a warm shower and a nap before going out. The city of Fort Worth has opened its arms to all the ropers by giving out discounted rates at hotels located only minutes from the arena. For all the fans coming in for the week, hotels will be filling up fast so better to book a room as soon as possible! There are at least 6 hotels within a 10-mile radius of the DFW international airport and only within walking distance of over 92 attractions. There will be something fun for all ages!
