CLN with Lisa Schneider-Cipriano interviews the Cowgirl Historical Foundation (http://www.cowgirlshistoricalfoundation.com/) at the JW Marriot Camelback Inn (http://www.camelbackinn.com/) in Paradise Valley Az.  The Cowgirl Historical Foundation is a non-profit organization Saddled Up for Service to increase public awareness, appreciation, and preservation of America’s western heritage and equestrian life style. Cowgirl Historical Foundation initiatives are met through creative educational programs and services, active community service and volunteerism, and participation in local, state and national events.  Cowgirl Historical Foundation activities are all aimed at educating, entertaining, and impacting our communities.
Rodeo is a public exhibition of cowboy skills, talented horses, and a roundup of fun and festivities. The Cowgirls are pleased to support the sport of rodeo and add their horsemanship talents to the event. Their flag drill team is an organized asset to the rodeo event. They ride well trained horses. The drill team outfits are colorful and classy with vintage inspired shirts, matching blankets and details. The CHF is pleased to work with great rodeos such as Payson, Gilbert Days, Globe Rodeo, and many more in Arizona.
For the past 7 years the cowgirls of CHF have appeared in the annual Rose Bowl Parade in Pasadena, CA. This year the CHF Cowgirls rode for the U.S. Veterans in 2011 Tournament of Roses Parade.
As ambassadors for western heritage and the equestrian way of Life, CHF members participate in a variety of community service activities, team building workshops, educational programs, and events. Through CHF, members gain life long lessons that develop character, citizenship and strong foundations for solid futures.
The Cowgirls have been pleased to volunteer with the Phoenix Fire Department, Florence Crittendon, Catwalk for Charity, Kicking Up Kindness Buckaroo Ball, National Day of the Cowboy, Literacy & Educational programs, Special Olympics, Phoenix Suns Charities and other wonderful organizations.

Lisa's experience in the world of TV and PR shows why she is a growing success. You will find her on camera, hosting live events and more. Originally from Illinois, Lisa moved to Scottsdale, Arizona in 1986 and graduated from ASU in 1988. Prior to co-hosting “The Chat Room,” Lisa was a broadcast reporter for the Arizona Capitol on ACTV, (Arizona Capitol Television) and spent several years in valley radio.
