Arizona Junior Rodeo Final Cowboys and Cowgirls are “awe-inspiring”!
CLN attended the Arizona Junior Rodeo Association FinalsΒ in Prescott, AZ and was extremely amazed at the sportsmanship these young folks displayed in and out of the arena. Β The President of the Arizona Junior Rodeo Association, Mike Cundall, said that the commitment to the Rodeo world by the families is by far the most dedication to a sport.

The Arizona Junior Rodeo was established in 1967 with the first finals held in 1969 at the Arizona State Fair Grounds, Veterans Memorial Coliseum.
Their mission is:
- To promote the Christian principles upon which the AJRA was founded and to encourage members to exhibit characteristics consistent with these ideals.
- To encourage and promote the highest level of conduct, moral character, clean living and sportsmanship among all of its members and member families.
- To promote and educate others of the heritage and traditions of the sport of rodeo and the Western way of life.
- To promote the sport of rodeo for junior kids for the purposes of maintaining and/or increasing interest in the sport and to build closer relationship
