CLN 12-12: CLN Willie Nelson, Britten Tillinghast and James Parks band Jam'n

The following feature presentation is a remarkable set of live performances by musical artists, Willie Nelson, Britten Tillinghast, and the James Parks Band performing live at the Pepsi Amphitheatre in Flagstaff, Arizona. After all, Willie Nelson “just can’t wait to get on the road again” so that he can travel to where the elevation is 7,000 feet above sea level; while at the same time, the crowd is expectantly hopeful that Willie will get off the road to play a show that many will only see once in a lifetime. Besides, there is no better place to see the legend Willie Nelson than within Coconino National Forest simply because of the amazing people and the peaceful campground atmosphere. But even if you weren’t able to make it to Fort Tuthill Park on Tuesday, July 10, 2012, don’t worry because you will be able to preview what all went down and also witness exclusive backstage footage!


This very large outside venue, also known as “The Fort,” is the ultimate concert setting due to its forest environment in the midst of the ponderosa pine trees, beautiful weather, and a rockin’ crowd that knows how to enjoy live music. Willie Nelson, Britten Tillinghast and James Parks Band jammed their hearts out and gave the audience an experience they will never forget. As people made their way into the Pepsi Amphitheater of Fort Tuthill County Park, Britten Tillinghast and the James Parks Band blew the crowd away as everyone checked out the merchandise at the vendors, grabbed some food and some cold drinks at the concessions, and sat down around the stage or on the grass space to watch them jam. Britten Tillinghast, James Parks, Joey Martinez, and the rest of the James Parks Band were fantastic to say the least as they got the concert started while opening for Willie Nelson.

After the live audience enjoyed a spectacular performance by Britten Tillinghast and James Parks Band, the crowd went wild as soon as Willie Nelson stepped on stage to play his first of many famous songs. It is truly a site to see and wonderful to hear Willie Nelson play his guitar and sing, as he interacts with the crowd as they sing along to his songs; in fact, Willie Nelson even threw a few of his bandanas he was wearing to a few people in the audience. As the show came to an end, Willie Nelson thanked Britten Tillinghast and James Parks Band for opening this outstanding concert and all of his fans for coming out to see the show. Willie Nelson then went around and genuinely shook hands with some of the very lucky members in the audience and signed autographs before he left the stage.
