Written by

Hollywood Yates is an accomplished American entertainment professional; in which, he has had a profound career as a television and movie star, a bullfighter and rodeo clown, and is also a lucrative singer. Hollywood is the center of attention on stages across the United States while he sings his own as well as covers of famous country songs from his hit album, “Like We Used To.” Whether Yates is preparing to act or he is warming up his vocal chords before an onstage live performance, Hollywood is extremely talented, passionate, and is always determined to do his very best no matter what he is doing. Hollywood is one cool dude who continues to prove to his fans time and time again that he has no fear despite what environment he is placed in while performing. After all, Hollywood Yates has an outlaw side of him that has been revealed and continues to do throughout his career. At the same time, Yates is down to earth, tremendously compassionate, humble, and has been embraced by the media as a positive American role model.
Yates entered into the world of entertainment as an inspired seven-year-old boy who looked up to the king of rock n’ roll, Elvis Presley; specifically because of the way Elvis captured the entire world while in the spotlight. The two separate paths may have been different between Hollywood and Elvis, but they both found fame in the limelight. Hollywood began performing in his Grandfather’s nightclubs and gambling venues growing up, while covering songs made famous by the legendary Outlaws; such as, Alabama, Chuck Berry, David Allen Coe, Donny Osmond, Jonny Cash, Jonny Paycheck, Kenny Rodgers, Hank Jr., Kriss Christopherson, Michael Jackson, Waylon, and of course, Elvis Presley.

“Wolf” on American Gladiators

Hollywood’s ongoing performances sparked his interest in business, which ultimately enhanced his personal understanding and overall outlook on how to successfully network with others by building strong business and social relationships. As a result, he made a name as for himself as one of the most popular American Gladiators, also known as, “Wolf” in the highly broadcasted television show, American Gladiators airing on the NBC network. In addition, Yates also was a featured stuntman and a professional wrestler in the WWE due to his physical appearance and ambition to awe his audiences. Hollywood was also seen on television shows such as, Access Hollywood, Deal or No Deal, Living With Abandon, Hang Tough, The Today Show, The Ellen DeGeneres Show, The Pyramid, The Unjust, Vampire Slayers, VH1’s Best Week Ever, The Wall, When Shadows Die, and much more.
Not only is Hollywood Yates a star in Hollywood, but he is also a star in the rodeo arena as a bullfighter and rodeo clown. In fact, Yates worked on the professional rodeo circuit for twenty-three years. Hollywood ran for a bullfight finalist two times and also a Barrel man one time in the NFR Wrangler Rodeo. Furthermore, he was rewarded over thirty championships, including a two time BRO World Bullfight Champion, a three time Ellensburg Bullfight Champion, a three time Salinas Bullfight Champion, and a four time Ft. Madison Champion Bullfighter. As a result, Hollywood Yates has proven to be a true cowboy in rodeo arenas and also on stages as a country singer across the country.
Cowboy Lifestyle Network had the opportunity to capture Hollywood Yates performing live at Martini Ranch in Scottsdale, Arizona. Be sure to view Hollywood Yates singing his hit song, Like We Used To, in front of a vibrant audience dancing and singing along to the hit single that launched his professional career as a self-determined country singer.
