Today officially marks the halfway point for all of us here at the Wrangler NFR 2020 in Arlington, Texas. For five days now, we have been blessed with the opportunity to watch the best of the best in the rodeo world compete for their shot at the number spot in each event. The fifth performance of the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo in Arlington, Texas has come and gone and it is only just the beginning. Events Around Town
Junior World Finals – Presented by YETI
The Junior World Finals, presented by YETI, will be held in the Wrangler Rodeo Arena, inside the Cowtown Coliseum, Dec. 3rd-12th. Over 800 young contestants are competing in the same rodeo events that their professional counterparts are. You can catch the action every day from 7:30 a.m. — 2:45 p.m. in the Fort Worth Stockyards. The finals for all rough stock events happened yesterday, today you can start watching the qualifiers for Pole Bending, Barrel Racing, Steer Wrestling, Team Roping and Breakaway. You can go see the champions of tomorrow by going to www.nfrexperience.com/juniorworldfinals/ for the qualifier, schedule, and producer information. Tickets are available for $10 onsite.
Bullfighters Only Championship
Dec. 8th-12th live from 3:30 pm-4 pm daily, Cowtown Coliseum in the Fort Worth Stockyards will host the Bullfighters Only Championship. The world’s top freestyle bullfighter faces off with the best American fighting bulls out there. Only one athlete can be crowned the 2020 BFO World Champion and claim his share of over $150,000 in prize money, who will take the number one spot? Tickets can be purchased on-site for this event.

Hooey Fest
The party doesn’t stop after the rodeo ends. Our friends over at Hooey are offering free live music and viewing parties every night from 5:00 p.m. — 12 a.m in the Cowtown Coliseum. This event will be hosted by Anthony Lucia, featuring a 30-foot viewing screen. Arrive in style and grab a photo on the Cavender’s Turquoise Carpet. Once inside, hang out down on the arena dirt or enjoy multiple VIP viewing options.
Cowboy Christmas
It wouldn’t be the NFR without a trip to Cowboy Christmas. With over 300 exhibitors the shopping and entertainment options have something for everyone. Cowboy Christmas is free admission and is open all ten days. There are several new programming elements this year on our Rodeo Live Stage presented by RMEF, so make sure to check out the schedule. NFR Round 5 Winners
Congratulations to all of the Round Winners for the fifth night of the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo!
Bareback Riding: Clayton Biglow – 89
The California cowboy makes an 89 point ride on the Pickett Pro Rodeo bucking horse for the Round 5 win in the Bareback Riding.
Steer Wrestling: Matt Reeves and Jace Melvin
These two bulldoggers each matched with their 3.9 second runs to share the Round 5 win in the Steer Wrestling.
Team Roping: Clay Smith and Jade Corkill 3.6 seconds
Clay Smith and Jade Corkill match the Round 5 record with a 3.6 run in the Team Roping for the round win.
Tie-Down Roping: Hunter Herrin – 7.4 seconds
Oklahoma man Hunter Herrin gets it done in 7.4 seconds to take Round 5 in the Tie-Down Roping. That’s the first round win for this cowboy this year!
Saddle Bronc: Wyatt Casper – 90.5
The Texas cowboy goes for 90.5 points aboard Onion Ring for the Round 5 win.
Barrel Racing: Hailey Kinsel – 16.92 seconds
Make it three wins for the Texas cowgirl! Hailey Kinsel clocks the fastest time of the NFR 2020 in Barrel Racing with a 16.92 second run!
Bull Riding: Ty Wallace – 91.5
Make it two round wins in a row for the Colorado cowboy. Ty Wallace delivers the top ride of the week here at the NFR so far with 91.5 points on Freddy Fender for the Round 5 win!
