The final day of the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo 2020 is almost here! This is it folks…the review before the performance that will make or break some contestants. Some of the athletes performing are pretty solid in the standings making it clear who will take home the title. You can catch below our thoughts on who is going to taking home the win in each event. The Junior World Finals, presented by YETI, will be held in the Wrangler Rodeo Arena, inside the Cowtown Coliseum, Dec. 3rd-12th. Over 800 young contestants are competing in the same rodeo events that their professional counterparts are. You can catch the action every day from 7:30 a.m. — 2:45 p.m. in the Fort Worth Stockyards. Yesterday, we watched the finals for Pole Bending, Barrel Racing, Steer Wrestling, Tie-Down and Team Roping 17 and Under #10.5, today you can catch the finals in Pole Bending, Barrel Racing, Steer Wrestling, and Team Roping. Today is the last day you can catch our friends over at Bullfighters Only. The remaining bracket of bullfighters will be duking it out today at 3:30 pm for their shot at being the 2020 Bullfighting Champion. Only one athlete can be crowned the 2020 BFO World Champion and claim his share of over $150,000 in prize money. Catch this last event at the Cowtown Coliseum in the Fort Worth Stockyards, tickets can be purchased on-site for this event.
The party doesn’t stop after the rodeo ends. Our friends over at Hooey are offering free live music and viewing parties every night from 5:00 p.m. — 12 a.m in the Cowtown Coliseum. This event will be hosted by Anthony Lucia, featuring a 30-foot viewing screen. Arrive in style and grab a photo on the Cavender’s Turquoise Carpet. Once inside, hang out down on the arena dirt or enjoy multiple VIP viewing options.
It wouldn’t be the NFR without a trip to Cowboy Christmas. With over 300 exhibitors the shopping and entertainment options have something for everyone. Cowboy Christmas is free admission and is open all ten days. There are several new programming elements this year on our Rodeo Live Stage presented by RMEF, so make sure to check out the schedule. Congratulations to all of the Round Winners for the ninth night of the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo!
Matt Reeves sets the round with a 3.5 second run then Tyler Waguespack and Jacob Talley made the same time to split the round win.
Paul Eaves and Colby Lovell split the round win with Chad Masters and Wesley Thorp after clocking matching 3.8 second runs in tonight’s round of the Wrangler NFR.
Tuf takes his first win of the NFR with a clean 6.9 second run.
Wyatt squeaked in the win with an 88 point ride on Xena Warrior for the Round 9 win.
Hailey Kinsel takes her fifth win here at the Wrangler NFR 2020! She and Sister made it look easy with a 16.81 second run for the win tonight.
Stetson put up a 92 point ride on Record Rack’s Smoke Stack for the highest score of the Wrangler NFR so far in the Bull Riding and took the Round 9 win.
