Bring the kids to the movies for the Kids’ Summer Series, offered at UltraStar from May 28-August 3. Choose a day to come every week and pay just $5 per person for the whole series! Or come to individual movies for only $1 per person at the door. Another favorite summer event at the UltraStar Multi-tainment Center at Ak-Chin Circle, Movies Under the Stars returns to the UltraStar Amphitheater. Free movies have been shown outside on Mondays since May and will run through July 30 beginning at 6 p.m. each night. Bring your own blankets or low-back lawn chairs, and get ready for a beautiful night! This year’s selections include The Secret Life of Pets, Ghostbusters (2016), Angry Birds, and Back to the Future. See the whole lineup here. Also, don’t miss the 40th anniversary showing of the movie Grease, with a special Movies Under the Stars showing on Saturday, June 16. Get ready to dance and sing to your favorite tunes from this classic.
During Movies Under the Stars, an outdoor concession stand will indulge your cravings for movie snacks, and the kids can enjoy the nearby splash pad before and after the movie.
